FRANKFURT, Germany—Clean production and hygiene are two new main themes for CleanRooms Europe 2003, a conference and exhibition that will feature more than 180 contamination control technology manufacturers and retailers that will be held at the Frankfurt Exhibition Centre from June 16-18.
Along with updated versions of previous cleanrooms sessions on cleanroom basics, design build, filtration, and gowning protocols, CleanRooms Europe 2003 will also feature conferences on “Hygiene and Hospitals,” “Sterile Packaging,” and “Advanced Packaging.”
“This is a breakout year for the conference at CleanRooms Europe,” says Michael Levans, chief editor of CleanRooms magazine. “With CleanRooms Europe 2003 under the control of PennWell Deutschland, we've been able to expand upon our core of new cleanroom technology sessions and include tracks covering specific contamination control issues affecting end-users in the hospital, healthcare and sterile packaging industries. This is by far our most comprehensive, timely and technical CleanRooms Europe conference to date.”
The expansion of the core of conferences, he adds, was done in cooperation with the GIT trade journal, Management & Krankenhaus, which points out the need for better and cleaner packaging operations as well as the increasing number of hospitals that are taking hygiene more seriously now that many are being sued for wrongful death caused by nosocomial infections.
