Kionix to sell microfluidic system

May 20, 2003 — Kionix Inc. has developed an off-the-shelf microfluidic system for life science research, according to a news release.

LabMatrix holds up to 39 chips in prefabricated pockets and gives users the ability to rapidly run experiments and reuse the system. The company did not disclose a price, but said the systems will be available for sale this summer. Kionix is based in Ithaca, N.Y.
