Formfactor makes a splash with IPO

June 11, 2003 – Livermore, CA – Formfactor’s initial public offering on June 7 raked in more than $467 million, exceeded the high range that had already been increased.

Livermore, CA, probe-card manufacturer sold 6 million shares at $14 per share. The company had earlier boosted the terms of the offering from $9-11 per share to $11-13 per share, and increased the amount offered from 5.5 million to 6.0 million.

Only four other companies since 2002 have managed to raise their expected price range, according to Thomson Financial.
