Synopsys acquires InnoLogic Systems

June 30, 2003 – Mountain View, CA – In an effort to beef up the verification component of its system-on-chip design offerings, Synopsys has acquired InnoLogic Systems, a San Jose-based provider of memory and equivalence checking technology, for an undisclosed amount.

InnoLogic’s technology verifies the functionality of custom designs such as embedded memories and complex high-speed I/O’s.

The companies’ combined efforts “will enable our customers to verify their next-generation designs with higher confidence,” according to Dr. Dian Yang, InnoLogic’s co-founder, president, and CEO.
