Chipmaker wins Israeli grant

July 9. 2003 – TransChip, Ramat Gan, Israel, a developer of single-chip camera solutions for mobile devices, has received a $3 million project from Israel’s Office of the Chief Scientist, part of the government’s Ministry for Industry and Trade. TransChip will use the funds for R&D into CMOS-based mobile imaging systems. The OCS previously awarded TransChip a $900,000 grant in 2002.
