EaglePicher to make NanoGram’s medical batteries

July 21, 2003 — NanoGram Devices Corp. has chosen EaglePicher Inc. to make its nanomaterial-based medical batteries, according to a news release.

The first products to emerge will be Fremont, Calif.-based NanoGram’s NanoCardia line of batteries for implantable cardioverter defibrillators. The deal also calls for potential collaboration on future products between NanoGram and Phoenix-based EaglePicher subsidiary EaglePicher Technologies LLC, which manufactures batteries for military, aerospace and medical markets, the release said.
