Metrowerks, Motorola join for wireless devices

July 1, 2003 – Austin, TX – Motorola says its application microprocessors now support the OpenPDA platform from its subsidiary Metrowerks.

The OpenPDA Development Studio for Motorola i.MX1 offers an integrated board support package with an enhanced Linux OS kernel with drivers, middleware, and applications. Together the platform and silicon aim to aid development of Linux-based wireless products.
