Nano lawyer Bindra joins Burns Doane

July 25, 2003 — Burns, Doane, Swecker & Mathis LLP, a Redwood Shores, Calif., law firm, announced that Kitu Bindra has joined the company. Bindra was previously at Oppenheimer Wolff & Donnelly.

Bindra is a co-founder of the MIT-Stanford-UC Berkeley Nanotechnology Forum, nanoSIG and the Northern California Nanotechnology Initiative. He will counsel Burns Doane clients on the formation, licensing, financing and joint development issues that concern nanotechnology companies.
