GCS opens foundry doors to optoelectronics

July 31, 2003 – Global Communications Semiconductor (GCS), Torrance, CA, says it will expand its foundry services to include the optoelectronics industry due to market demand. As a “Virtual Optoelectronics Foundry,” GCS already offers its 4-in. production capabilities to wireless and telecommunications component manufacturers.
