Orbotech introduces direct imaging system

August 5, 2003 – Orbotech, Yavne, Israel, has unveiled a new direct imaging system using a UV solid-state laser. The DP-100SL, which boasts up to 15 times less power consumption than other UV gas lasers, has completed production testing at two leading European PCB manufacturing facilities.
