Atlanta lawyer to lead nano IP team

Sept. 15, 2003 — Atlanta-based attorney Bryan Bockhop has been appointed co-chair of the American Intellectual Property Law Association’s (AIPLA) Nanotechnology Subcommittee, according to a news release.

Bockhop, of Arnall Golden Gregory LLP, leads an effort to identify and educate the legal association about nanotech issues, and work with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office to help ensure consistent treatment of innovations from the emerging field. The subcommittee is part of AIPLA’s Emerging Technology committee.

AIPLA is a 14,000-member national bar association for those involved in the practice of patent, trademark, copyright and unfair competition law.
