Chromux, NP Photonics link on optical MEMS

Sept. 25, 2003 — Chromux Technologies Inc., an Oxnard, Calif.-based optical MEMS supplier, will manufacture MEMS devices for NP Photonics Inc. and serve as an Asian distributor for the Tucson, Ariz.-based firm, according to a news release.

Chromux will make NP’s tunable filters and other products at its 60,000-square-foot Oxnard facility, which includes a 12,000-square-foot clean room for wafer fabrication and MEMS manufacturing services. Chromux also plans to integrate NP’s MEMS technology into its ROADplexer product line, the release said.
