China: The future is nano-enabled plastics

Oct. 10, 2003 – Chinese researchers have successfully developed nanotech-enabled production technology for turning carbon dioxide waste into biodegradable plastics, according to Asiaport Daily News.

A team from the Chinese Academy of Sciences’ Guangzhou Institute has received funding from the Guangzhou Municipal Government in south China’s Guangdong province, and secured three patents.
