The New York-based alliance and the National Science & Technology Education Partnership (NSTEP) of Arlington, Va., will develop programs to build awareness and excitement among K-12 science teachers and their students. Participants will include students, educators and volunteer mentors from industry, the release said.

The groups said their goals are to connect students to the real worlds of science and technology and inspire students to pursue nano-related careers.
