Doug Andrey, principal industry analyst and director of finance for the Semiconductor Industry Association (SIA), is slated to discuss industry perspectives at the Global Economic Symposium (GES) on Nov. 18 in Austin, TX.
The presentation will highlight usage of symposium sponsor International SEMATECH’s industry economic model (IEM), a tool for analyzing various aspects of semiconductor industry economics. “The overriding theme of this symposium will be on the 300mm wafer program and its past, present, and future impact on the industry,” said IEM project manager Denis Fandel.
Other presenters include Robert Wright and Walt Trybula of SEMATECH; Kenneth Flamm of the University of Texas; Alan Allan of Intel Corp.; industry consultant Paul Landler, formerly of IBM; Iddo Hadar of Applied Materials; and SEMI’s Dan Tracy.
