Aerosol particle counter
|
Using a thermally chilled, solid-state diode laser to count 0.1-micron particles, the Lasair II offers what the manufacturer claims are accuracy, reduced operating costs, reliability and longevity. The product stores 3000 samples. Users can control the particle counter from a desktop web browser as it samples in the cleanroom, then download the data into Excel. Users can also download the data directly into FacilityNet for advanced analyses and reports.

Valve/connection combo
The Steam-Thru Connection (STC) serves the dual function of valve and connection, eliminating the steps of traditional steam sterilization processes. It also speeds the connection process and reduces contamination risks associated with multi-connection steam-in-place applications. For example, biopharmaceutical companies can sterilize the flow path and initiate connections between a bioreactor and media bag without adding plumbing connections or additional steps to the process. The product uses a steam trap to rid the connection of steam during the sterilization process.

Disposable filter
Designed with an improved membrane pleating method, QuickChange ATM provides 40 percent improvement in membrane surface area compared to QuickChange ATX filters. This improvement leads to a higher flow rate that aids in the recirculation and recovery of a bath. The non-dewetting membrane technology delivers retention at 0.03 mm and withstands high-temperature applications of 180° C. Shipped water-wet, the products also reduce filter changeout time, which minimizes system downtime for a lower cost of ownership.

Pressure regulator
|
Constructed from all-wetted PTFE and featuring no sliding parts, the Dymatrix HPR Series pressure regulator is intended for aggressive chemical and high-purity applications used in the semiconductor industry. The product provides full shut-off and offers adjustable outlet pressure. Its flow ..range is from 5 cc/min to 100 L/min. The regulator can also withstand high pressure, with inlet pressure up to 72.5 psi and outlet pressure up to 42.5 psi. When installed with an orifice plate, the product can also be used as a flow control device. The series is available in 1/4-in, 3/8-in, or 1/2-in sizes and can be supplied with a variety of tube end connections.

Pressure transducer

PTU series ultrahigh-purity pressure transducers feature metal thin-film sensing technology to promote consistent, accurate performance that minimizes routine maintenance. The sensing technology—consisting of a metal thin-film resistor bridge or an Elgiloy diaphragm—enables reliable readings ..over a wide range of temperatures, and offers a stability rating of less than 0.2 percent of full scale per year. Interchangeable electronics provide flexibility, reduce inventory, and facilitate maintenance. Single-end, flow-through, and modular surface-mount configurations offer ≤0.5 percent full-scale accuracy.

Abatement material
|
Ultima-Sorbä employs dry abatement technology to abate MOCVD process gases, especially arsine and phosphine. According to the manufacturer, the product combines two special materials to optimize scrubbing capacity and efficiency, while reducing system heat generation. Together, these materials are designed to chemically remove hydride gases at room temperature, as well as deliver three to five times larger capacity than conventional dry abatement media. Reportedly, the use of the material results in a 20 to 50 percent reduction in abatement cost of ownership without any scrubber modifications.
