New firm seeks to consult on nanotech

Dec. 9, 2003 — A new company seeks to offer consulting, conferences, reports and newsletters about bio- and nanotechnology, as well as other emerging fields, according to a news release.

 

Savant Company Inc. was formally launched this week by CEO Farhad Mafie, a former vice president with Toshiba America Electronic Components Inc. He said the Irvine, Calif.-based firm’s goal is to help technology companies develop a commercialization process that matches their technology, applications or geographical focus.
