MEMSCAP launches new version of design tool

Jan. 22, 2004 — MEMSCAP SA (News, Web), a France and Silicon Valley-based MEMS designer and manufacturer, released a second version of its MemsMaster design tool, according to a news release.

MemsMaster version 2.2 was developed to quickly model complex MEMS systems involving interactions among multiple domains, including electronics, mechanics and thermals. It has been designed to simplify MEMS components prototyping and reduce the time needed for integrating MEMS devices into the systems, the release said.
