Philips beefs up Taiwan spending

January 13, 2004 – Royal Philips Electronics N.V. plans to invest $68 million this year to expand production at its Kaohsiung facility, according to Dow Jones. The infusion will allow the facility to offer more services for Philips Semiconductors’ global and regional development.
