Skyworks honored by Mexico

January 14, 2004 – Skyworks Solutions Inc., Woburn, MA, has received a National Export Award in the maquiladora (“assembly plant”) category.

The award, given annually since 1993 by the Secretariat of Commerce and Industry, recognizes businesses in agriculture, manufacturing, and service that have made outstanding contributions to improve the Mexican market.

Skyworks’ manufacturing and test facility in Mexicali, in operation for more than 30 years, employs 2000 workers and products 800 million units/year.
