ADE wins patent suit against KLA

February 5, 2004 – ADE Corp., Westwood, MA, said a Delaware jury has ruled in favor of the company in a patent suit brought by KLA-Tencor Corp., San Jose, CA.

The suit concerning wafer inspection technologies was filed in November 2000. KLA-Tencor has not commented on the ruling, and ADE offered no comment on the status of its own patent suit filed against KLA in October 2000.
