BioMicro mixes it up

Feb. 4, 2004 — BioMicro Systems Inc., a Salt Lake City supplier of microfluidics-based biological research products, announced the introduction of its Maui Mixer DC on Tuesday.

The mixer allows independent microarrays to be processed simultaneously on a single slide. The device is intended for genomics, proteomics and tissue array research. The company said it is looking for additional ways to tailor its technology to specific applications.
