Companies form online memory group

February 18, 2004 – A collection of companies have established a new online community for advancing memory technologies including DDRII and fully-buffered DIMM.

The Memory Implementers Forum, which includes heavyweights Intel, HP, and Dell, will enable members to share news, technical documents, and marketing materials, as well as browse a catalog of products and technologies and a contacts directory.

Pete MacWilliams, Intel senior fellow, desktop products group, said the forum will “create a community for discussion of opportunities and challenges across memory technologies.”
