Germany, Russia to build technology park

February 10, 2004 – A science and technology park dedicated to development and production of microelectronics is in the works in St. Petersburg, Russia, according to a report from the BBC. Germany would provide 1.5 billion euros in funding for the site, with the Russian government guaranteeing 15% of the cost of the project. Production from the site would be projected at three or four years.
