Toshiba tilts toward Analog Devices

Feb. 19, 1004 — Toshiba Corp. has selected Analog Devices Inc.’s iMEMS accelerometer to provide tilting function for a new laptop computer, according to a news release.

The ADXL311 accelerometer enables users to tilt their laptops up and down to view the top and bottom of Web pages, or turn the pages of a digital book or magazine by tilting the laptop from left to right, the release said.
