TSMC enters production with low-k

February 3, 2004 – TSMC said it has produced the first graphics processor to be built using a low-k dielectric process. The foundry’s Nexsys process technology is in use for 130nm and 90nm nodes, with an output of 10,000 production wafers in 2003, and 100,000 expected this year.
