SMIC, Artisan forge 0.15-micron plan

March 31, 2004 – Artisan Components Inc., Sunnyvale, CA, has signed an agreement to support 0.15-micron processes from Chinese foundry SMIC, including IP for SRAM, ROM, and standard-cell libraries. The deal adds to a January 2003 deal which provided support for SMIC’s 0.18-micron processes.
