STATS/ChipPAC merger passes government antitrust review

On February 10, 2004, the two companies announced that they had entered into a definitive merger agreement in a stock-for- stock transaction to create one of the world’s premier independent semiconductor assembly and test solutions companies.

(March 23, 2004) Chandler, Ariz.&#8212Amkor Technology Inc., CASIO COMPUTER Co. Ltd. and CASIO MICRONICS Co. Ltd. have established business and technology licensing agreements for assembly and test of wafer-level semiconductor packages.
