Test group adds members

April 16, 2004 – The Semiconductor Test Consortium Inc. (STC), San Diego, CA, the industry group behind the Openstar architecture promoting test hardware and software interoperability, has added to its roster.

Joining Intel and Motorola as founders are Analog Devices, Fujitsu, Philips Semiconductor, Renesas, and Toshiba, with Tokyo Electron Ltd. added to the group’s steering committee, and another 11 companies added to its roster of vendors.

The STC also has signed a deal with the China Beijing Semiconductor Industry Association to promote the group’s activities in China.
