Zyvex launches life science tool

April 9, 2004 — Zyvex Corp. has entered the life science market with a version of its Nanomanipulator for positioning and testing, according to a news release.

The L100 Nanomanipulator System, controlled by a joystick, can have up to four positioners with a variety of tools capable of gripping and probing. Those tools can be used to perform precise mechanical and electrical characterization, and enable a variety of measurements and experiments under different optical microscopes, the release said.
