June 28, 2004 – California Micro Devices, Milpitas, CA, a supplier of application-specific analog devices, has signed a deal with Japan’s Sanyo Electric Co. to add wafer-processing capacity.
Under the deal, Sanyo becomes a high-volume manufacturing site for California Micro’s Application-Specific Integrated Passive (ASIP) devices and analog semiconductors. Proprietary manufacturing processes have been transferred for production at Sanyo’s facilities in Gunma and Niigaata.
