PennWell Corp., a highly diversified media and information company and publisher of Solid State Technology, recently announced a new event, The ConFab, to be held at the Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas on May 15-18, 2005.
The ConFab is a conference and business meeting where executives from semiconductor equipment and material suppliers can meet with key decision- makers from semiconductor manufacturers to discuss current business and technology issues and collaborate on future strategic development in device fabrication.

Attendance at the event is by invitation only. Attendees will be pre- screened to verify that they are key participants in the buying process. Ample time is allocated at The ConFab for individual, pre-scheduled, face-to- face meetings between equipment and material suppliers and device manufacturers.
The ConFab will also include keynotes and presentations that focus on first-hand perspectives on device consumption from key end users in high- growth markets, the overlap between manufacturing technology and business issues in regard to global 300mm fab construction, and other topics of compelling interest to device manufacturers and the suppliers that serve them.
