Agere discovers lead-free packaging method

Agere is already shipping lead-free semiconductor products to customers using this new packaging process. It will transition most of its products to lead-free packaging by summer 2005.

STATS ChipPAC Ltd.’s Singapore operation has achieved ISO/TS 16949:2002 certification by PSB Certification Pte Ltd. This certification marks the fifth STATS ChipPAC operation to do so.
