Self-supporting pocket filter

Airguard has announced an important new alternative in self-supporting cube and multi-pocket filters. The new Airguard filters use high-integrity, high-loft polyester media that resists moisture, will not sag, and is extremely durable. The media has low resistance, and is coated with a non-drying adhesive for optimum particle collection without sloughing.

The internal wire frame is self-gasketing, and self-sealing to prevent leaks and bypass. These new cube and multi-pocket filters have high surface area and exceptional dust holding capacity. They maintain their shape in all airflow conditions and are easy to install–no clips or latches required. Airguard cube and multi-pocket filters fit all types of air handling systems–front or rear-loading frame banks, or side access units. They do not shed, and will not support microbial growth.

Airguard Uni-Cube Filters have a tapered pocket design and single media layer, 20-25%, MERV 7; Tri-Ply Cubes have larger fibers upstream for best depth loading, and a dense, needled media downstream. They are 30-35%, MERV 8. Both are classified U.L. Class 1.
Multi-Pocket filters include VA-420 two-ply, 20-25%, MERV 7; VA-440 three-ply, 30-35%, MERV 8, and Syn-Pak three-ply, 35-40%, MERV 8. All are classified U.L. Class 2.
