ChipMOS Appoints New Director

Tsai has served as a director of ChipMOS Technologies Inc., which is a 70% held subsidiary of the company, from January 2001 as a representative of Siliconware Precision Industries Co. Ltd., where he has been a supervisor since June 2002. He was previously president of Grand Cathay Securities Co. Ltd. and assistant VP of China Trust Commercial Bank Co. Ltd. Tsai received his bachelor’s degree in statistics from National Cheng Kung University and master’s degree in management of technology from National Chiao Tung University.
