IEEE Announces New Two-show Wescon Strategy

The first show will be IEEE Wescon D2M in Santa Clara, Calif. at the Santa Clara Convention Center on April 12-14, 2005. This will be followed by IEEE Wescon in Long Beach, Calif. on November 8-10, 2005. Both shows will focus on advanced technology, departing from the component-dominated shows of the past, and each will reflect the particular regional characteristics and strengths of the two markets.

(November 8, 2004) Taipei, Taiwan&#8212After reporting flat revenues for the entire third quarter, Advanced Semiconductor Engineering (ASE) reports a 7.5% sequential uptick in net revenues for October 2004, amidst the holiday build season. Revenues were a record $235.1 million, 36.2% above the October 2003 level. Year-to-date net revenues for ASE through October 2004 are $2.006 billion.
