Tessera’s inaugural Technology Symposium in Japan will feature U.S.- and Japan-based semiconductor companies focused on achieving greater electronics miniaturization through the use of SiP technologies. The symposium will take place on January 18, 2005, the day before the opening of the IC Packaging Technology Expo in Japan.
(November 29, 2004) Singapore—Agilent Technologies announces the centralization of its Wireless Systems Operations (WSO) in Asia, with two centers to be formed in Singapore and Penang, Malaysia. Singapore and Malaysia will become the global hub for WSO’s marketing, R&D, manufacturing, and supply-chain management. WSO, which makes test systems and solutions for the wireless industry, is part of Agilent’s Wireless Business Unit.
