BOSTON, Mass.– The CleanRooms Contamination Control Technology (CCT) Conference & Exhibition will include an intensive full-day training program from internationally-recognized contamination control expert Dr. Hans Schicht, executive secretary and past president of the Swiss Society for Contamination Control (SRRT). In addition to acting as an independent consultant in cleanroom and contamination control technology, Dr. Schicht is actively involved in the international standardization efforts of the technical committees ISO/TC 209 and CEN/TC 243 on cleanroom technology, and chaired the International Confederation of Contamination Control Societies (ICCCS) from 1988-1990.
In the comprehensive one-day course Fundamentals of cleanroom technology, Dr. Schicht will cover important topics such as basics of cleanroom technology, standards and requirements of a clean facility, design and construction of cleanroom systems, and qualification and monitoring of the critical environment. Says John Haystead, chief editor of CleanRooms magazine, “I see this as a 'must attend' course for anyone seeking a thorough understanding of the many different considerations involved in the design, construction, qualification, and operation of cleanrooms and clean facilities.” Graduates of the program will receive a certificate attesting to an overall competence and knowledge of basic contamination control principles.
The CleanRooms CCT Conference & Exhibition will be held March 22–23, 2005, at the World Trade Center in Boston, Mass.
