TI Revises Guidance as Inventory Issues Remain

TI (Dallas) says that revenue from its Semiconductor business would range from $2.68 to $2.78 billion, compared with $2.63 to $2.83 billion previously. The company also expects revenue from its Sensors & Controls business to top out between $270 to $280 million, compared with the previous $270 to $290 million, and Educational & Productivity Solutions business revenue to reach $70 to $80 million, compared with $60 to $80 million, projected earlier. The company expects earnings per share to range from 25 to 27¢, compared to 24 to 28¢ previously. In its previous quarter, TI earned $563 million on revenue of $3.25 billion, warning of a fourth-quarter slowdown due to lingering inventory issues.
