Jan. 12, 2005 — NanoOpto Corp., a Somerset, N.J., developer of nano-fabrication technology for the rapid design and high-volume manufacture of nano-optic devices, announced it has named Bruce Nonnemaker as vice president of manufacturing and operations.

Prior to joining NanoOpto, Nonnemaker was an executive vice president at Emcore, where he had divisional responsibility for a $60 million equipment and materials business. Previously, Nonnemaker was vice president of operations at Alpha Industries with functional responsibilities for wafer fabrication, process development engineering, information technology and quality assurance.
