March 15, 2005 – Intel Corp., Santa Clara, CA, has handed awards to more than three dozen suppliers for their performance in 2004, out of its roster of 12,000 suppliers. Twenty-six winners of Intel’s preferred quality supplier (PQS) awards scored ?80% on a list of performance and ability goals, including cost, quality, availability, delivery, technology, and responsiveness. Another 17 honorees received Intel’s continuous quality improvement (SCQI) award by scoring ?95%.
