NanoDynamics, Nanocyl ink agreement

Mar. 7, 2005 — NanoDynamics of Buffalo, N.Y., and Nanocyl S.A. of Belgium announced they have signed a strategic partnership agreement. The agreement is intended to expand the applications and commercial use of Nanocyl’s single, double, and multiwall carbon nanotubes in North America. Additionally, NanoDynamics will provide technical support and expertise in applications development to users of these advanced materials.

Alan Rae, NanoDynamics’ vice president of market and business development, said in a prepared statement that the partnership will combine Nanocyl’s ability to manufacture and tailor a range of high quality carbon nanotube products with NanoDynamics’ experience in identifying near-term commercial markets for nanomaterials in North America. He also said NanoDynamics could help guide Nanocyl’s products into development programs in research quantities and subsequently into product qualification while ensuring that all US regulatory guidelines are met.
