Polychromix raises $3 million

April 26, 2005 — Polychromix Inc., a Wilmington, Mass., developer of MEMS-based products for optical wavelength management, announced closing on a $3 million round of funding.

New investor Lighthouse Capital Partners joined existing investors Siemens Venture Capital, Seed Capital Partners, Vanguard Ventures and others.

The company says it will use the funds to expand its research and development activities. The funds bring the total investment in Polychromix to more than $18 million. The company previously announced raising $8 million in second round funding in February 2004 and $7 million in first round funding in May 2002.
