China grants patent to pSivida Limited

May 11, 2005 — Nanotechnology company pSivida Limited of Perth, Australia, today announced it has been granted its first patent in China, a key market for pSivida’s silicon implants. pSivida is in exploratory discussions with commercialization partners for the Chinese market for its implants that deliver drugs as they biodegrade in tissue.
