Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics upgrades cleanrooms in biopharm and medical component manufacturing facilities

Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics’ Healthcare Business Unit has recently completed clean room upgrades to two of their biopharmaceutical product and medical component manufacturing facilities. Saint-Gobain’s Taunton, Massachusetts and Beaverton, Michigan facilities operate fully functional Class 10,000 clean rooms to manufacture platinum-cured silicone extruded and molded products.

Clean rooms operations include production, inspection, and packaging of all products. These world-class facilities produce market leading products such as Sani-Tech, Tygon, PureFit and BioSil brands of silicone products.
