CLARENCE, N.Y.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–May 19, 2005–Wilson Greatbatch Technologies, Inc. (“The Company”), announced today the grand opening of its world-class manufacturing facility in Tijuana, Mexico.
The state-of-the-art 144,000 square foot manufacturing facility will initially provide value added sub assembly operations for its cardiac rhythm management customers.
President Vicente Fox Quesada of Mexico was the guest of honor at the ribbon cutting ceremony commemorating the grand opening. The Governor of Baja California, Eugenio Elorduy Walther, the Secretary of Finance, Fernando Canales Clariond and Jorge Hank Rhon, the Mayor of Tijuana also attended the event.
