Companies collaborate on energy monitoring

June 29, 2005 — Tridium Inc. and Dust Networks announced an alliance targeted at lowering the cost of energy monitoring and real-time demand response applications.

The companies have worked together to make Dust Networks’ SmartMesh wireless sensor solutions interface directly with devices and applications based on Tridium’s NiagaraAX Framework.

The SmartMesh networking system is a platform for wireless energy monitoring networks. The NiagaraAX Framework is a software solution for energy monitoring. As a result of the collaboration, the companies say, users can more quickly rapidly implement programs to reduce energy costs.
