MFIC ships improved microfluidizer

June 13, 2005 — MFIC Corp. (OTCBB: MFIC), a provider of materials processing equipment, announced it shipped its first M-700 series Microfluidizer high shear fluid processor with a constant operating pressure option to a Japanese customer.

The company also announced that it expects to ship a second M-700 system with the constant pressure option within the next few weeks. An order for a third unit has been secured and that customer has indicated potential additional orders after performance testing is completed, a company release stated.

The M700’s constant pressure option is intended to improve material processing efficiencies while reducing component stress. Coupled with other technologies, the company said, the constant pressure option could help users reach higher capacity at lower cost.
