Trikon sells to Zetex

June 16, 2005 — Trikon Technologies Inc. announced the sale of two Omega etchers to Zetex Semiconductors PLC, a manufacturer of analog power devices for the consumer, automotive and industrial electronics sectors.

The sale to Zetex includes one tool to be used for silicon trench etching and polysilicon etch-back processes and another to be used for a range of dielectric etches. Using the etchers, Zetek will add additional production capacity to an existing process line.
