July 29, 2005 — IQ Medical (OTC: IQMC) of West Palm Beach, Fla., announced it appointed new officers and a new board of directors. It named Johnny Christiansen president and chief executive officer and named Svein Milford chairman.
It also named Robert Rudman chief financial officer, secretary and treasurer. All three men were appointed to the board of directors, along with Trond Eidsnes. IQ Medical has a license to microfluidics technology from Osmotex, of which Eidsnes is a founding member of the board.
Christiansen was previously president and CEO of Sensonor ASA, which focuses on developing sensing technology and is a large developer of MEMS sensors for the world automotive industry. In 2003, Sensonor was acquired by Infineon. Most recently, Christiansen was president of Visionaire, a consultancy.
